POLARPRO - Something different

POLARPRO - 28MM

I recently discovered a fascinating lens from “POLARPRO” that caught my attention. What makes it stand out is its ability to let light in from the side, which creates a very distinctive, almost nostalgic retro effect in the images. The manufacturer claims the lens has an aperture of F/11, which further emphasizes its specialization for low-light photography.

I’m curious and slightly skeptical at the same time. On the one hand, I love the idea of capturing images with a retro flair, and I can already imagine how the side-lighting feature could bring a whole new dimension to my shots. On the other hand, I’m not entirely sure if this lens will live up to my expectations or if it’s going to end up being a disappointment.

In the coming weeks, I plan to put it through its paces and see how it performs in real-world conditions. I’ll be experimenting with it in different settings, and I’m especially excited to try it out in nature and street photography, where lighting often plays a crucial role. It will be interesting to see how the lens handles contrast, shadows, and highlights, and whether it can really deliver that "retro" vibe as promised.

I’ll be sharing more photos soon, and I’m looking forward to seeing if this lens becomes a new favorite in my kit or just an interesting experiment.
