Who I am
Hi, I’m Elias. I’ve been passionate about photography for the past five years. I started taking photos during a challenging and stressful time in my life, and working with my camera became a calming outlet for me.
I’m largely self-taught, with help from YouTube tutorials and articles along the way. Nature photography is where I feel most at home, but I also enjoy the unique charm of street photography.
I’m always looking to grow and explore new areas of photography. Lately, I’ve been diving into sports photography and experimenting with black-and-white photography.
“It’s not about the final photo, but about the way it was taken…”
Why do I say this? Because photography is a process that means a great deal to me. I love working with the camera and light. Behind every finished picture, there’s a unique story and a lot of effort. The photo itself is the outcome, the reward.
Sometimes I’m not satisfied with the picture, but the process always gives me something in return. It allows me to escape the daily stress and find peace. For me, photography is more than just a hobby – it’s my retreat, my safe place. Photography represents creative freedom to me.
A photo only comes into being after you’ve travelled a street. This street is often filled with challenges and obstacles. But when you finally reach the destination and see that the image not only captivates you but also others, all the effort is worth it, and you’re eager to take that journey again.
